Cast Away

With teary eyesI behold your faceMiss your embraceAnd wish for onceThat we might flyAcross misty groundsAnd temples forgottenBy sour love now gone rottenAcross my landscapeAs silence surroundsI miss you as ever beforeThought you’re not truly goneBut been missing for so longThat I grow wearyFor you to darken this doorAnd my life now shadowedTill dawn may wakeAnd this bruise may breakThe rapid river of meThat now runs shallowA place you might stayAs my soul weepsMy heart shall sleepSafe without the feelingYour life has stolen awayAnd love remainsThough stories denyThese feelings that ICannot repress As they play their gamesAnd my eyes cryI cannot cast awayWhat I wish to stayHolding your heart Written October 14th, 2001 © on Nov 02 2001 07:46 AM PST   0 • 1
