Two Worlds, One Choice
By dannerman
"Two worlds, one choice" Says a soft, whispering voice. What can that one choice be? It is, of course, Christianity! Or is there another possibility? A different choice that's just for me. What does this "New Age" stuff have in store? It looks as if it leads to more. More of what, I do not know. Is this really the way I want to go? Is New Age a possibility? Should I let it take control of me? "Two worlds, one choice" Says that same soft, whispering voice, But continues on this time instead. "Oh, what is that I hear inside your head?" "Are those rebellious words of doubt? Tell me, please, what is your doubt about? Have I not loved thee? Dost thou not love me? I gave my Son that tragic day, Just so I could bring you out of harm's way. Hear me now, faithful and true. No matter what you do, I will still love you!" I just stood there speechless, my eyes filled with tears. Had I forsaken what I learned over the years? I had accepted Jesus so long ago, But now it felt like it was all just a show. Two worlds, one choice. Did I make the right one? No, but it's not too late to be undone. With tears in my eyes, I started to pray, "Lord Jesus, please forgive me today. I do not deserve any of your love Except by grace that comes from above. I pray for your strength to help me live right That everything I do brings glory in your sight. Oh please, God, forgive me, for I have done wrong. Help me to live for you and be strong!" Two worlds, one choice. Just listen to God's voice!
