A New Light

A new light by Darmok 4/6/99 revised 7/28/01 I looked deep within our private sanctum, hoping to find her there. But alas the years suffered passed, denied me even one glimpse her image fair. Oh heart why doth thou beat yet once more, wherein thy loving cup all has spilt, and still I thirst. There would I drink of her pleasure, and bathe in her face, you beat reminding me that I live, but for naught.....so cursed. My heart aches, dare I forget the love we urged, her face fading in dreams forgotten during the passing nights. Beat me if you will lamenting sorrowful dirge, but refill thy loving cup, let me embrace a new light.
