Dark Shadows by Darmok 6/2000 Cloudy seas of midnight blue, a murky mix of deadly stew. Beckon all that chance to glance, the face of death in shadows stance. Pray now the hour come, the midnight grave consumes. No tale too long lest you stay, this cask will make your sleepy room. Sing the songs of cheers bygone, one song less, then none. How sad the years how dark the night, shivers streak the white thin light. Sadness is truly the grave, where hope befalls the weight. Heavy hearts laden with truth, some find love some find hate. The 12th hour is sore, and I alone hear them ache. Oh hearts denied the scars would rake, cold bones chilled- too old will break. Wicked dreams betray me, I am not complete. Be gone my love you are not here, alone this bed I sleep. But in dawn's early eye I see her, a fleeting beat of my heart. For an instance I'm in love again, exhaled the dream departs. So sadness claims my love, dark shadows loom or'e my day. Midnight madness stores my tears, cloudy skies of gray. Written November 16th, 2001 © on Nov 16 2001 03:40 AM PST, Darmok    18 • 0 • 1
