Within by Darmok 6/2000 Golden gaze of summer's sworn, Years of pain like tears I've worn, Bear my soul within your eyes, My heart reveals your loving cries. There impressed your stoic face, The lines and scars of tender pace, So much the many years have sought, For love and hope the days of naught. This moment forever wears my thoughts An eternity saved in arms there caught. I see beyond the stars we've shared, The man within who has always cared.
