Grains of Sand

"Grains of Sand" by Darmok You’ve touched the darkest places within my soul, Found a way into my heart. For there amidst my darkest thoughts, Are put away those things that hurt. Buried there yet… not out of sight, I manage to keep them at bay. Aware of them but not with them, Tis where these thoughts should stay. Your words pierce this darkness, They warm the cold and black of night. They walk with me and touch my soul, Release the weight of fear; of fright. Like a common path walked before, You and I have trodden more. And have seen the waves upon each shore, perhaps……..felt the same grains of sand fall evermore.I appreciate the recent comments, very encouraging. This forum is new to me and I'm testing your reactions to those that procede you. Does the verse have feeling? Do you hear me in the verse? Will you reflect on it at all?
