“Sleep” by Darmok 6/25/97 Now I lay me down to sleep, winter’s grave beside me. Cold rivers course my veins, winter’s gray inside me. Into the brink that sadness craves, Sun slips silently beyond the keep. Eyes closed darkness complete, removes my heart where light would seep. Now I lay me down, there beyond the keep.
