I Sleep

“Sleep” by Darmok 6/25/97 Now I lay me down to sleep, winter’s grave beside me. Cold rivers course my veins, winter’s gray inside me. Into the brink that sadness craves, Sun slips silently beyond the keep. Eyes closed darkness complete, removes my heart where light would seep. Now I lay me down, there beyond the keep. Forgotten rose beside the gray, our light burned out... -I sleep-Hi, Please take a moment to read my older titles and give one or two a read that have zero or one current read attributed. I think you'll find Autumn leaves, Winter of your life, Coat of Green and Straw Man interesting :) Thanks for reading even one verse that you find of interest. -D Written November 26th, 2001 © on Nov 26 2001 08:36 AM PST, Darmok    18 • 0 • 1
