Please, Eat the Sheep by Darmok one/18/02 The rumbling thunder Accompanied by digestive cramps, Sounds an embarrassment of emptiness And hollow shell. Ignored, the feeling grows stronger Until their eyes you cannot deny Lay upon you and with raised brow You submit, yes…. ‘twas me. (I cannot quell) Be quiet I demand, You unruly beast! So what If I awoke you Two hours early today. Go back to sleep And eat the sheep, Or that silly cow Jumping over the Moon full of cheese. There is nothing else This morning for you, Except more emptiness, ...yes A diet coke please. Lunch is two hours away, ...quiet...(shhhhh) (I think he’s sleeping.)I'm just a bit hungry :) that feeling inside, How wonderful life is, When lunch has arrived! (Elton John, said it better:) Written January 18th, 2002 © on Jan 18 2002 03:56 AM PST, Darmok    0 • 14
