Rainy Day

“Rainy Day” by Darmok 1/26/99 Countless drops of tiny spheres, Bathe her mirrored face. Streaming veins search the deep, Swells the earthen vase. Pour forth your laden heart, Wails the winds her sorrowed song. Whips the earth and smites the rocks, Rips the night tapestry hung. Barren trees shudder at her touch, Stolen fruits lay waste. Currents gather spoils and dust, Tossed within the blackened race. How dark will this day be, Will the light pass from thee? Of weeks and months the weathered ground, All tears will pass unto the sea. So mocks the day this stormy brew, Gathering shades of gray. Stealing colors which light the way, Behind the mask of rainy day. Written November 16th, 2001 © on Nov 16 2001 07:13 AM PST, Darmok    0 • 1
