Reflection of 'Swan Songs' "one more day" by Darmok 122101 Bristle Pine tree, older than old whispers this song. Watches and waits a millenia, another day will dawn. His vigil has seen the rise and fall of kings, the frozen spells of hell. But beauty in her song remains, each click of time will tell. His branches full with snow   and ice, wait for her embrace. The warmth and golden glow   entice, the burning of her face. Rise ol'e friend from your golden berth, share with he another day. Warm the frozen packs of earth, within his branches play. Bristle Pine tree sheds his tears, and offers diamonds more. Melts away the golden years, she warms him to his core. Evening song calls the stars, in shadows slipping 'way. Swan songs, a millenia of tears, he dreams yet of one more day.Credit to GranpaPPy for the inspired imagery of his verse "Swan Songs".  Inspired by the golden images of his verse, I found myself thinking of Bristle Pine trees and their relationship with Sun and the stars...they live so very long...they have heard this song have they not?  One of the oldest BP trees is over 8 thousand years old....
