"Shady Tree" by Darmok 1/31/02 Underneath the shady tree, Away from pain, her rest. Sighs relief and worry free, Unfettered stress I’m blessed. Shady tree, cooling breeze, soft caressing streams. Loving silence and wisdom’s dreams, Beneath this tree are these. Simple silence and safety found, Listening to myself breathe. A place to rest and lay my head, Swim in dreams believe.I've always considered my Mother's home, her heart, her willingness to listen, a sanctuary of rest.
