"Touched"                       by Darmok 6/14/2000                       Two strangers passing in the night,                       Tracks behind them, covered white.                       Snowflakes forward, left and right,                       Two strangers passing, in the night.                       Did you say something, did I hear right?                       Twas the wind blowing, flowing, might?                       Nay, but in your eyes, there in this light,                       Spied I, a glimmer of cool blue moonlight.                       Then as you passed me by this cold winter night,                       Your shoulders wrapped warm and tight.                       Touched me ever so slightly that I should write,                       Two strangers passing, in the night.                       Now, warm and wrapped covered in bed,                       Thoughts of sleep, a book well read.                       I think of what lay behind those eyes so blue,                       I’m glad I have been touched by someone, by you.
