When Dreams are Lost

"When dreams are lost"     by Darmok 4-1996 A woman carries her love and self, cherished dreams she tarries. Her mate her children her self esteem, fade the dreams she carries. Somewhere lost along the way, departed gifts and soul. She rests her life it placed on hold, her purse now empty  hole. All is well to do for, love is generous, but herself she no longer weighs. Poured out passion and bundled care, exhausts her stores of days. When husband seeks but does not find, the fair and beyond compare. Look deeper there and go with care, the light of day will share. Warm your beds oh stupid men, open your eyes and see. Her dreams  for self too long the quiet, put forth her sail - her dreams on sea.
