Your Kiss

Your Kiss by Darmok 1-3-02 Elusive as slips of wind     breathing in hollow trunks,     You pass me in the night     creating mystery in dreams that fade away. Just before dawns muted light     would stream through to wake me,     in that slow pouring rain of     timeless clarity...I see you,     through eyes nearly open. As with all apparitions, and     vague memories from a night's     journey to Shangri-La.... You vanish, and the dream almost within     my grasp, slips off the precipice     and into the gray of the passing night. The clock resumes its clicking     concealing your face with reality. Pushing me further away     From beauty. A persistent urge to return,     to behold your face...     piques my desire,     and there you are kept     at the edge of recognition. So near,     In the daunting ether,     just out of sight... Who are you, to whom belongs     the face of beauty that I have seen     and touched in my dreams? Flesh so soft, succulent lips,     would that I drink from them     their endless wetness. A kiss of mixed tongues     and Elixirs of love. I would recognize you     with my eyes closed,     simply by your kiss.Written January 3rd, 2002 Photo from Jeff Sedlik: Navigating the Licensing Waters Jeff Sedlik © James deJauregui © on Jan 04 2002 09:27 AM PST, Darmok    love
