A Puddle of Sorrow
By dawnhall
I am treading water alone admist an inner whirlpool that threatens to suck me down into it's drain. A puddle of sorrow with no more tomorrow's I feel that lonely place Where there is no one there but me A lost soul ready to give up Careful, careful to not step on my puddle I do not want to look at tomorrow I will not be sucked down the drain of my inner whirlpool. When my life is turned upside down I wish I could hide and bury my head in the sand. I praise God and His strength moves inside of me. I will stand up and stand tall Look within and use the talents God gave me Write, love, care, share. I refuse to drown in my puddle With God's strenght, I can create a U-Turn I will dance in my sorrow and know God's handling tomorrow!
