MY GRANDAUGHTER WAS SAVED! We made it, thank God! My granddaughter is home! Her father stole her She couldn’t use the phone. Her dad said she had the flu She could have died Her mom took her to the hospital Appendix almost burst inside Since he had Francis He moved place to place Afraid of getting caught Afraid of losing face. Her mom couldn’t find her School to school she did roam If asked for school records They’d move to a new home Years of running, hiding, She became her dad’s slave Clean the house, cook and chores Scared, she wouldn’t misbehave. Caught inside a boy’s home Not doing anything wrong Black eye –hurt and sprung wrist Her dad was very strong. She came to me for help Thirteen, sad, crying inside How can she contact mom? I called her mom with pride. Her mother jumped on an airplane And prayed all the way here She had to save her child She took her home – let’s cheer! Dedicated to my grandaughter, Francis I love you!
