Personifying a Season
By DayDreamer
Once I talked to a pumpkin head. What won'drous things this pumpkin said.'I know things are to be wed,'Said this kind old pumpkin head:The falling leaves have teeth to talk,And when I take my morning walk,I hear them cry, 'We fall of shock!'That's what leaves say, when they talk.Once the sky turned orange too.It said 'I'm tired of this blue.'And there it was, the reddish hue...The sky is pretty when it's orange, too.I went back to the pumpkin head,And 'All is well,' this pumpkin said.'Nature is all put to bed',And I believed this pumpkin head. But all is not as Pumpkin said.Num'rous questions ran my head. And soon I asked him 'All is Well?'But that pumpkin wouldn't tell..I was in a Dr. Sues-y Mood when I wrote this. :) Written October 21st, 2001 © on Oct 23 2001 08:34 AM PST, Brandon 0 • 10
