Nobody Cares

By DeeNekura

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

My sorrow swells within me, like the purest fire of hell My burning tears of pain hold all the secrets I do not tell My blood seeps slowly outward, as I stare outside the glass My heart beats softer with each step of every person to pass My eyes are heavy and gradually close as I lean against the wall My frail fingers grip the curtain as I barely catch my fall My dejected life drains quietly, and nobody can even see My existence leaves this world behind, to finally set me free Written November 21st, 2001 © on Nov 21 2001 08:27 AM PST   0 • 1
