Pickering The fairy tale you wanted was A pleasure to compose because It left so much room to create A tale that is involved in fate The story that you get is this One you can welcome with a kiss A kiss allows only what you Do welcome with the morning dew Once-upon-a-time there just was This fairy that enthralled because Beguiling’s what he knew to do With every circumstance of you He/It was looking for some gold That It could most readily hold And keep secure within his hold In it’s kingdom low-and-behold It found some gold the master had Was stacked up neatly by the cad Because in wealth he did abound And kept it close just like his hound The master, an unpleasant sort “Alas,” you say, as you retort He did do bad things just for sport And welcomed all that does abort Losing the gold, he had stored up And kept within the loving cup Composed of gold just for the sup That master had most un-abrupt The fairies in the land that’s in Imagination deep within And certainly can cause a grin To reside just above your chin As I said he had found the gold A most welcome sight to behold For him to readily enfold And grasping, causing to be bold Bold fairies are few, far between Their residence tends to be lean ’Cause fairies mostly like to hide In the country where they abide He just had to obtain that gold Such a sight for him to behold Gold it knew and could get a hold And delight his humble abode Gold would adorn his meager place And easily he then can race To the place he washes his face And keeps most things he does embrace To obtain the gold he just must Sprinkle it with some fairy dust So, from his pouch he gets his dust And acquires the thing of his lust The fairy dust does make it float Effortlessly into his boat That circumnavigates the moat Of the masters castle abode Fairies can cause their boats to fly Way up into the clear blue sky Thus they readily say goodbye To troubles they create on high The boat flies but, is loaded down Fully with that gold fairy’s found The master formerly had bound To his ambit that’s in the round The fairy gets to his abode It’s not even close to a road It is placed in a tall, strong tree Is said by humans to be wee Fairy proceeds to get out now Start adorning his home somehow Applying gold with some know-how Fairy proceeds to take a bow. ’Cause gold makes his home look so fine Fairy has no reason to pine Because it now looks so divine Fairy considers gold sublime. More mischief fairy now must do Not doing it makes him feel blue He will attempt to get your shoe Thusly making you go boo-hoo When you have to saunter on rocks Which are within, without the box Just as is that resourceful fox That is acting akin the Cox That will truly guide you to all Things that you want upon your ball Those are only within the hall Not out of your reach but, just tall Fairies also like to do good Things that you can keep on your hood And in your life just as you should He does resolve the things he could. He sees you riding on your ass He thinks you’re a fine looking lass. But, he can sometimes be crass About thoughts that you often grasp He circumnavigates your head. Brings fixations that you don’t dread. These seven things he can bring. Unity, Justice, Honesty Respect, Kindness, Life, also Love Unity equals up above. Don’t worship idols just because. These statements caused my rhyme/ metre’ to get out of wack And to continue I must get back. To patterns that I do follow Faithfully into the hollow There, now I think I’m back on track I must keep off of the sidetrack. Because I’m speaking of the gnome That we all need to give a home In the location we reside We cannot let the fairies hide. Seeing as we welcome the ride Onto which they’ll let us abide. They sometimes can create a fuss About which we can freely cuss. Obscene speech is not on your bus. Because you’re more proper than us Back to the fairies I’ll now go They don’t like to put on a show. For Tom, Dick, Harry, or for Floe They like to do things apropos. They can give you all of their gold. Which you may think that you can hold But, maybe the gold that they hold Is but LOVE, which is colored gold. This color thing is not a tale. It is just fact that I’ll avail. To all of you who’re dark or pale Seek the LOVE that is in the swale. The Golden Love waits there for you. Know it sometimes makes you feel blue. However, what else are we to do? We must get on the other shoe. The Golden Love awaits you there. It’s often found within your hair. Hair’s only thoughts that you expend From your mind when it’s on the wend. That is all I have to convey I will now be upon my way. Just like fairies I will not stay. Just leave my thoughts for you to weigh. Finis Written December 29th, 2001 © on Dec 29 2001 10:43 AM PST, Dennis Pickering   17 • 0 • 12
