That’s deposited on your head By one in-flight that you do dread Hats are no longer for fashion That you display with much passion. For everyone else to notice Your fine look upon this lotus This lotus that is known as Earth That you inhabit since your birth Into this much physical life That you occupy with some strife. It is only a covering That’s on your head and that you bring With you wherever you proceed Upon your ever mighty steed Caps are only a bunch of sh*t Cover your head a small bit And do somewhat compress your hair. Makes you too easy to compare. Too many others in your life Who might equate you to a knife That’s gone beyond the cutting edge. And is not solely in the hedge. The hedge that is the barricade Beside which you do promenade. To attempt to gain entrance to The place in which the cap won’t do Hats now, are another story. Hats don’t have to ride the dory. Hats get to occupy the ship And don’t need to carry a whip. The hat mans whip is attitude Which they can have not being rude To anyone that’s in their sphere And with whom they will have a cheer.
