She works and works upon lives Attempting to make them true. What's right to her may be though Different than lineage wants. Mothers change to grandmothers When things get to be just right For partaking descendants To bless us with a new life. Then she's more on which to work As though she hadn't enough. But delectation's her goal For her old and new kinfolk. Mom, I thought I would compose For you a little poesy. I thought it might be something More chiefly from me to you. Than some acquired present God knows if you'd want or need? Who needs a bunch of clutter Occupying the pathways? I am sure Dad will agree Though Moms beg to conflict with An ideology of Sparseness in the domicile. Mothers Day 2001 © 2001 Dennis L.
