Sanguine
© 1/19/2002 Dennis L. Pickering 1. Cheerfully optimistic, hopeful, or confidant; a sanguine disposition, sanguine expectations Would it not it be pleasant to be? A sanguine monkey in the tree Of this life that you do manage And exploit to your advantage Because we need to be sanguine In our attempts to make life rhyme Acquire what we think is sublime Makes possessions in our life shine Life wants to flow, make you un-blue For you to engage the right hue And with flow it can make you do The correct things to fill your shoe With all the things that you desire To acquire that are on this wire And things you need to set afire Evolute your life-spell on fire The tree that’s for sanguinity Taken into infinity Is where you need to occupy Your place within this humble pie What the hell is a humble pie? It’s just the place in which you lie And get the things you want on high To have before you end and die. FINIS Written January 19th, 2002 © on Jan 22 2002 08:51 PM PST, Dennis Pickering 17 • 0 • 12
