The last (?) Unicorn (a challange poem)
© 02\16\2002 Dennis L. Pickering The unicorn, a mystical beast? Or is it one who has only ceased Occupying this world that we’ve greased With Anger and Hate not in the least! I had seen one once when I did ride On my Pegasus, we didn’t hide. And by the rules we did not abide Because those rules are like cyanide. They occupy a different realm Than the insane world that’s on our helm Unicorns are with the Pegasus Running freely not riding the bus. Like an appaloosa they do look Have a single horn upon their book Above the eyes with which they do look At other characters in this book. Unicorns are just gentle horses Like the Pegasus I adoreses. The Anger and Hate is what forces Unicorns and such out our doorses. FINIS Written February 16th, 2002 © on Feb 16 2002 04:47 PM PST, Dennis Pickering 17 • 0 • 12
