I Can Play The Game Too
By Desdemona
Everytime I turn around You turn away from me Knowing deep in your heart Our love was meant to be Sometimes your smile is so warm Sometimes it's just like ice You lie in bed and tell me tales When I ask you for advice You pull me in, you push me back Til I can't take anymore You took my hand, we danced our dance Then you lead me out the back door Touch my face, tell me lies Hold me close as you can Kiss my neck walk on past Ask me to stay with you again I draw a heart, you fold on me Until you deal another hand But baby, I am not the one to lay the blame So now it's my turn to play your game! This is a very old poem a friend and I wrote years ago about this guy who would always want me to marry him then ignore me in public infront of his friends. I finally played his game back on him :) Written February 10th, 2002 © on Feb 10 2002 12:21 PM PST, Lee Gillilan 18 • 0 • 10
