I'm Tired

By Desdemona

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I'm Tired of seeing others in pain, and me not able to help them. I'm Tired of having to pretend I like someone, when I don't. I'm Tired of telling lies, when the truth is much easier. I'm Tired of saying I'm sorry, when I am right. I'm Tired of doing one to others, but they don't do to me. I'm Tired of living on the edge, when there is no level ground. I'm Tired of hearing people say, things in life are meant to be. I'm Tired of singing songs, when there is no one to hear me sing them. I'm Tired of meeting someone, whom I'll never see again. I'm Tired of hiding my feelings, when I can't even find them. I'm Tired of waiting for a call, when no one has my number. I'm Tired of being alone, when there is someone for each of us they say. I'm Tired of wishing upon a star, and it don't come true. I'm Tired of making a big deal out of nothing. I'm Tired so I am going to bed.
