Speak Not A Word
By Desdemona
[Your heart tells all through your lips In your conscience just like this Read this poem, the powers may be Speak not a word and you shall see.] A evil man on the witness stand His life is in stake but he stays calm His heart beats a thousand miles a minute Should he tell the truth.. Or speak not a word? A man whom you shared your love with Steals your heart and runs away You hang on to his every word, He forgets everything Should you tell him how you feel... Or speak not a word A little boy barely four years old Abused once again by his father's angry hands The pain controls his soul and fears Will he dare tell anyone about this.. Or speak not a word A brother figure, friend, nearly a stranger Conversations over the internet every night We shared everything, then nothing, fighting constantly Should I even chat with him anymore... Or Speak not a word A little girl molested once again Her fathers whispers echo in here ears She hangs on to her teddy bear while crying Should she tell someone about this.. Or speak not a word What ever your problem may be The answer lies in songs And if not, remember this Speak not a word... You can't go wrong!!
