A poet's Love
By Doc Watson
To know just how a poet loves, read the words they choose to share some write gentle, lyrical poems, about things for which they care others strip their poems to the bone, devoid of wasteful words and cast raw feelings in the air, to soar about like birds both use their words and imagery... to touch both mind and heart sensing where each word must fall. and stanzas have to part. the poet's words can show their love, and the feelings it can inspire painting images of pain and joy. with pigments of desire caught in the blaze of crimson sunsets slipping on snow with crystal crust expressing joy or consternation they write the words because they must...there it is...that's all i can really say Written January 7th, 2002 © on Jan 07 2002 11:56 AM PST 0 • 8
