If this...

If my words were fluid would you bathe in them? If my lips were wine would you drink of them? If my eyes were the light of the sun would you bask in them? If my arms were blankets would you wrap yourself in them? If my kisses were rouge would you paint your lips with them? If my love was a house would you live in it with me? If my neck were a mother's nurturing breast would you suckle of it? If my touches were joy would you revel in them? If my love was death would you give in to it? If my feelings were enamel would you paint yourself in indifference with them? If my wishes were my ears would you box them? If my longings were vermin would you kill them? If my convictions were sweet roses would you trample them? If my mind was a temple would you defile it? If my body was a grave would you rob it? If my soul were a church would you burn it? If my ideals were a garden would you tend them? If I should happen to love you with everything I had would you possibly give a fuck? Written December 1st, 2001 © on Dec 01 2001 03:00 PM PST   0 • 8
