Words, posted on a Page can have such power... if you let them. they can open old wounds... or sometimes rekindle possibilities. (potential) the hard thing is to... not let them mean anything. they seem to.. Good or Bad! are they about you, or someone else? don't assume anything... it's over! maintain strict neutrality at all costs... don't... for God's sake don't... REPLY!!! don't let your heart read them... it might start hopin again, now that you're learning to live without it don't tell ANYONE that the only place she'd fall... if she ever looked into your eyes again... is UP (such a pathetic statement) no don't... even for a minute think... under any circumstances it could be about you. because if it's not... you'll just fall back into the void you just scraped and clawed your way out, dammit!! change the color of your eyes, that way you'll know for sure... it was not about you!!! god, how a few words on a saturday afternoon can change a sunday afternoon! just when you think you've got your act together the color of your eyes... and a few words... make you wish you'd never learned to read, or that you were someone elsethis is actually about two years old, after a bad encounter with the wrong girl and the right poetry....wadn't pretty Written January 8th, 2002 © on Jan 07 2002 03:20 PM PST   0 • 8
