For the Board

I must admit my guilt:I am a thought criminal. And many a crimehave I committed. The limitless freedomof a mind unhinged. This is what they fear most.Breaking from their iron-clad mold.Big Brother wants your mind.He wants your heart and soul. He'll reach for your dreams, but deny his grasp.Take control of your life;hold onto yourselfby keeping your faith invested in the future.Eliminate their mind control.Continue to dream boldly.State your notions blunt.Make your convictions strong.I must admit my guilt:I am a thought criminal. And many a crimehave I yet to commit.this was inspired by my school administration's attempt at siliencing the student body when we were being lied to about safety precautions concerning many bomb scares and threats to pull a columbine. they attempted to silence the truth by attempting to shut down the student-run newspaper. i was also inspired by the book 1984. 2+2=5 Written October 3rd, 2001 © on Oct 03 2001 12:37 PM PST   10 • 0 • 9
