Can and Can't

By DoubleD

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

All though eyes can not see it, All though skin can not touch it, All though words can not shape it, and fingers can't grasp it. My heart can beat to the drum of it's course, my emotions can feel it, My legs can tell it's approaching, and my brain can sense it. My ability can't learn it, but my world will learn it. These four letters create a word, A word so powerful that it is invisible to all but few. Those few, who really want it. Need it. Have faced life without it and can't bare to again. The ones who can see it long for it. Breathe it. Soak their bodies in it. They can't bear to be without it, or you...Any comments will be needed, I am sure. Also please look at my other poems.
