Dangerous Humans
Underneath the tree I wait, Outside your house, Right by your window. Cloaked in black, Always willing to kill... Perhaps tonight you'll come, For the thrill. Stalking through the town so dark, Looking for the one to mark. We walk past dogs, Scared into silence, Tails between their legs. Cold winds blow through the windows, Of children we stop to look in on. Fathers out of bed, Searching with a bat. Mothers go to sleep with their children, Scared something is wrong tonight. The moon is full, Power is dwindling, Stomachs are empty. Tonight is not a night to be picky, We will terrify them all, And leave them cold. Their blood we will steal, Their lives we will end, Will they go to Heaven? I hope they got their affairs in order early. From dusk till dawn we search, Attacking, Maiming, Sucking, Killing. By nights end, Our bellies will be full, Our minds at rest, Our urges quenched. In four weeks time, I'll wait again, Underneath your tree. We'll do this not because we are vampires, No, We are something much worse. We are dangerous humans.I definately do not like this one. But it came to me. Feel free/obliged to give any comments you want that could help me. Written March 25th, 2002 © on Mar 25 2002 10:18 AM PST 18 • 0 • 10
