Fingertips

I reach for words as my fingertips To touch her soft heart and to caress her gentle soul I express all that is in my heart With neither fear nor bravery But simply truth of feeling, truth of thought With hesitancy I feel her feelings touch my heart Through her fingertips of tender hugs and kisses Every moment I am with her, her fingertips touch me more Slowly letting go of her fears, to feel more, to express more I am overjoyed to begin to believe that I can be loved In flesh, I tremble, I feel her delicate soft skin through my fingertips Caresses drawn over her slender neck and her satin smooth cheeks And caresses drawn across the sultry curves of her sensual body My fingertips have never known a greater joy With the touch of her fingertips my body yields in surrender To surrender my heart, my body and my soul to her 29/10/00 Inspired by her touch Written October 29th, 2000 © on Jan 19 2002 02:33 PM PST   0 • 8
