Remnants of Moments

By duderag

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The 'patter' was not supposed to begin so quickly The sweet remnants of moments of past Falling like feathers Covering the ground, peppered with white What is one to say? Say but nothing, let the feathers fall With enough to cover the ground I stand upon I will not walk away For it seems soon I can lay down in comfort To rest surrendered Surrounded by soft down 09/11/01 Second time around… that we could begin so quickly again Written November 9th, 2001 © on Jan 19 2002 02:51 PM PST   0 • 8
