And so the twilight CAME Breathing fire into the night as Gatsby looked out at the ocean and watched. THE SUNRISE I stood there dreaming of the life and the beauty inherent in the world around me. Looking at the silence hearing it wrap about me HOLDING THE WORLD MY WORLD While my breath coalesces into you The being of You Touching me in With Fingers of feathers Drawing out my life --- bringing You and I Sustenance In the glimpse Of each other I am a dreamer, without strategy Inable of enacting seduction I cannot reach The fire of your soul ----Why should I---- Dreaming of you Consumes me In the half-light ---- I want to possess you Take life --- within you A complimentary appendage I hear you --- inside my mind wrapping around my synapses becoming me – entwined in my thoughts FILLING ME with eSSential NECESSARY thoughts I am what I am -- I said you need a plan, A STRATEGY A GAME --- she said Truth before games said I -- a tenet to my existence rules I apply to myself and not to others CANNOT --- be wrong because I can only rule myself BUT STILL I DREAM TO FIND someone for me TO FILL THE hollowness of my soul when I watch the SUNRISE Written February 24th, 2002 © on Feb 24 2002 12:39 PM PST 0 • 12
