Angels' Wishes

By Einstein on Crack

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Now we’re past the season When people show good will Momentary peace on earth A time when all stands still When angels’ work is minimal The world it seems is one Many happy people Sharing in their fun Of course there are exceptions Perfection it is not Christmas is the time of year That cannot be forgot Then the seasons over Calm is in the past Returning to life's troubles Across our world so vast Think of children’s wishes I wonder if someday Our attitudes will change somewhat Have Christmas every day Perhaps then in the future Our worldly woes will fade Bitterness and hatred Cast into the shade Angels then could concentrate On those who need them more So live all year like Christmas Our world needs it for sure © Andy Harding Written January 13th, 2002 © on Jan 13 2002 09:03 AM PST, Andy Harding   0 • 12 • 13
