Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Like a candle melted by its flameUneasiness fear without cause, a mysterySo light headed concentration lostDoing things halfheartedly , no purposeView of the universe incredibly narrow. His mind is wandering like the cold night windAlone, lost somewhere in timeConfused, nowhere to go, no directionNo peace of mind, constant torture. His emotion, opened, hidden notCan't be concealed with his fake smiles and hollow laughtersInside his being is full of achesJust a confidence builder, 'let it be'.There must be a light somewhereKindness of the heart, wisdom and trust to mankindLight of happiness, helping hands, loveDetermination and courage to face the invincibleTo ward off anxieties, to let him live.Try to think back, anxiety is nothingIt is only a misgiving out of controlIt is an unexplained phenomena, it always happenJust a blink of the eye, it's done.Highs and lows are integral parts of his lifeA spinning wheel, a cycleLet time passes its courseA new day is dawning, keep on living.Wonders to make existence more interestingFood for his thoughts To help him criss-cross those thorny pathsA challenge, how he reactsHe is wise he knows how to survive where footprints are scarce.;o)~~***~~ Written October 23rd, 2001 © on Oct 23 2001 02:18 AM PST   0 • 12
