Thoughts of Life

By Fallen one forever

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

This Life is harsh, In and out of love; With and without feeling, Honestly what’s the point? If you care about anything, It either kills you or screws you. No matter what happens, This life is a game your loseing. No matter what or who you are, Death or disease gets you. It’s a chain reaction that will never stop, And that is the truth. No matter what you do in this life, Unless it’s extreamly rememberable, Like Hitler, Mozart, or even Einstein, You’re not remembered for any thing ordinary. This societies normalcy level is corrupt, So many religions that if you open your mouth; You might say something sac religious about one of them, Unintentionally making a racial slur. They say violence begets violence, I wonder if that’s true; does it really? Because if it were true, Wouldn’t peace beget peace? There are many things that we want to know, But if we knew what we wanted; Would we fear and despise the information we longed for? Or put it to some diabolical use? I believe it’s true that, The second we are born we start to die. That we are dying as every breath we take passes, As every second ticks off the clock. Many would and will think that what I say, Is morbid and inexcusably wrong. But worrying about what everyone else thinks, Is what screwed this world in the first place. If there wasn’t any conformity in life, Then I guess there would be a lot of anarchy. But at least people would make a decision, Based on what they thought rather than what someone else thought. Following a person or thing is what lead, To so many problems and death. If the Romans had not followed their emperor, The Jews or “Christians” would not have been subjected to so much death and hatred. Enslavement of others lead to riots and hatred, Of many different races and cultures. The English or “Southern Americans” enslaving the blacks, Or the English forcing Catholicism on the Native Americans. But even now so many years after these events, One culture still hates the other. In the 60’s they wanted love, joy, and peace all over. Now in the turn of the century it’s pretty much the exact opposite. Most people don’t care either way as long as, They have money or wealth; they’re content. They don’t care whom they have to step on or hurt, Just as long as they achieve this “MONEY” goal. I heard somewhere, “Money is the root of all evil.” I guess that makes the world pretty sadistic, Since Satan is “Evil” and God is “Good.”well thats just a train of thought comment if you wish.
