Never on time for the holidays always behind in numerous ways Stress rising before we fall waking at sunrise after a call When will we learn the Lord doesn't mean for us to rant and rave and scream His birth to be celebrated soon while stars twinkle happily with Mr. Moon Mr. Moon won't change nor will the stars we oft times shift then view our scars The sun always rises God sends the snow lightning sends energy the Good Lord knows It's safe to sit and breathe for a spell with thoughts on God instead of hell The holidays offer time to be grateful we have every reason to be faithful God sends peace on earth to men God's point of view is we are kin So why not act with love...not hate It thrills God when we do not wait Opportunities remain to let go of fright God watches o'er us throughout each night 'Tis time for faith never to waver 'tis the season to snuggle in love for our Saviour Written November 26th, 2001 © on Nov 26 2001 02:35 AM PST 10 • 0 • 13
