Where's my father? He's nowhere to be found We haven't heard from him in two days Since he struck my mother And left her laying on the ground The rent's two months past due And my father isn't anywhere around He's probably out getting high In some alley halfway across town The refrigerator is empty Momma dosen't know what to do Because daddy has stolen the grocery money And now momma is crying Wishing she had never uttered the words I do Sometime's I wonder what me as his seed could have done wrong Is there something wrong that i did or said?
