A Heart That's Lost It's Way

By GhettoRaisedPoet

I admire those who have passed on before me Because their existence is better than that of my own They are in a much better and joyous world While I remain here on this earth Feeling hopelessly alone What is my true role In this never ending play we have come to call Life The evil prosper and grow richer by the minute While the good continue on in their everyday struggles and strife Love contiuously flies by my door And never seemd to acknowledge that I'm home While a sence of belonging in this world I hungrily search for As I wander about and roam Written September 1st, 2001 © on Sep 01 2001 10:42 AM PST   0 • 1
