Broken And Dying Never able to function the same as before Busted open and bleeding heavily All of what was once True Love onto the wide open floor At one perfect moment in time Vivarent and Full Of Life Compassion seeming to flow though every vein and artery But now Love's Door has closed by Hurt and Pain And has been shackled by it's feet Never able to again be free Flatlining has occured And it has now passed on As many other's before it have done just the same' Sunshine and Joy once present there But now all that remains is Dark Clouds and Rain What was once thought to be Unbreakable Has now been proven to be just that of a mere joke And has been thrown into its eternal grave Because Pain laid it's hands upon Love's neck And never let go of it's Unrelenting Choke Written July 6th, 2001 © on Jul 06 2001 02:55 PM PST 0 • 8
