They call me Beast
I appear to the world around me As just a burden to all their lives All men who lay eyes upon me wish me dead Including women and their every child I live in the shadows and corners Because from society I am seen as an outcast When I brush against so called 'Perfect People' Rapidly they wash their skin As if I was some sort of terrible disease or rash These 'Perfect People' around me Have labeled me a freak of nature And just an outright beast Because my pain they love so much to feed upon As if it were some gigantic feast Why don't they realize That in many ways I'm just like them Except for having the hate in my soul To look upon something differen from me And to a lifetime of hurt So easily upon it's head condemn Written September 1st, 2001 © on Sep 01 2001 10:32 AM PST 0 • 1
