Always II (Haunted)

By Gunslinger

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Can you feel my presence- Standing by your side? I am with you always- No need to try and hide. No place that you can flee me- No chance I'll go away. I'll haunt you in your dreams at night- Your thoughts throughout the day. I'll whisper in the darkness- And tell you how I feel. You'll know it is the truth, dear- The feelings all too real... The breeze will be my soft caress Upon your fevered brow... Each shadow is my silhouette- You'll see my courtly bow... The falling rain, my teardrops- You sensed it when I cried... Be sure I'll haunt you always- I'm always at your side. Written December 29th, 2001 © on Dec 29 2001 01:10 PM PST, John R. Yaws   0 • 10
