I Wonder If It's Me?
By Gunslinger
I was looking at your pictures- The house, the yard, the trees- The flowerbeds were blooming Blossoms swaying in the breeze... The children smiled so sweetly- Their joy was plain to see... But I sense there's something missing, And I wonder if it's me? I can smell the coffee brewing, And bacon in the pan... I can see you brush a wayward lock Aside with your left hand... Your neck looks so enticing- Just begging for a kiss... The river bank for walking... I believe would be pure bliss. Again I look them over... There's an emptiness I see- An element is missing... And I wonder if it's me? Written December 16th, 2001 © on Dec 16 2001 06:13 AM PST, John R. Yaws 0 • 10
