Our Love Goes On
By Gunslinger
Our Love Goes On They tell me man is mortal, And too swiftly years do fly. It seems he hardly enters life, Ere comes his time to die. But I cannot believe it, And even if it's true- When these old bones, are dead and gone... I'll go on loving you. My voice will be upon the wind- My form among the trees- You'll feel my kiss and my carress, On every gentle breeze. They tell me that my time is near- But I know that they're wrong... For though they lay this flesh to rest, Our love goes on and on. Written November 18th, 2001 © on Nov 18 2001 01:13 PM PST, John R. Yaws 20 • 0 • 8
