Insomniac Thoughts...

By Halocination

How do I sleep when I have swallowed the moon and it shines in my mind throughout the night keeping my mind at a pacing stride searching dimly lit corridors for dreams that have long been forgotten. How do I sleep when my mind has feet of its own that kick my eye lids open and my mind's eye rips open my lips to scream, "Look where you're going." Are these my footprints? I don't remember tracking red dirt over the threshold of my eyelids. Whose footsteps are these that have run up and down and have worn my carpeted brain. Now can I sleep? The human brain only needs 3 hours of sleep to survive, but I will settle for 3 minutes even if I don't have to wake up alive. My moon will shine on. As bright as the dark side of the moon has ever shone, and it will keep you awake with thoughts that provoke the innocence which you have labelled your inner child. By any means necessary your child will be born, and you will ask the questions of how and why,and why,and why,and why,and why... Just like children do. For the truth that you learn will only cause questions to be cesarianed into existance... Copyright ©2001 AllisterCritique to your heart's content...
