Ocean

I stand on top of the mountain, with oceans all aroundI shout your name again and again, and hope to hear that soundI miss the sound of your voice in my earThe warmth of your breath on my neckThe touch of your lips on my collar bone dearThese thoughts force me to reflectOn the past pages of an over read scriptTorn edges, the most frantic etchingThe story of a wandering spirit and the search of a kindred being.I fly from the top of the mountainIn search of a place to hideI could swallow the oceans around and withinJust to drown my terrible prideThe Ocean is not far away nowNeither is its rocky shoreSo I'll take my final bow,And rest on the ocean floor...Among kindred spirits all searching stillLooking for a hope lost long agoBut living in puddles the ocean spillsWaiting for us to realize things we already know.Copyright ©2001 AllisterShe said a word, I wrote about it...
