Your Letter...

By Halocination

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Today I read your letter It took me quite some time I thought what we had was better And now it's on my mind It started off: "Hello my Dear" And ended "Always yours" I'm asking you now through my tears Please tell me why, because... I can't erase the memories I fall into your eyes So angel, won't you tell me please I'm praying to the skies. Today I read your letter It was stained with your tears I wish I had treated you better Instead of wasting all those years Why didn't I hold you tighter? Why did I ever let you go? My apologies to the writer, But my love I have to show. Copyright 2001 AllisterDear John, I'm leaving because.... Um, wait a minute, I don'k know a John... hmmm...
