Dark Flames

By Harmony

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Can you feel them burning,       From The depths of the soul,        To the eternity of the mind?       You may not see them but they are there,       Exposing the pain that poisons our souls.       Burning inside, Dark Flames.       Look past this veil of flesh,       To the innner depths of personality.       Open you eyes.       Become blinded by the fire,       Subject yourself to this night.       You ridicule me with pride.       Are you without blame?       A black fire, cold embers,       Burning inside,Dark Flames.I know it is a little on the wierd side, but it really in a way describes what I go through. I am just trying to put in words the burdens some people have to carry around and deal with. Written January 28th, 2002 © on Jan 28 2002 11:30 AM PST   0 • 1
